1. Readability: All work should be submitted with the least possible errors especially in grammar. All written works that you want to submit needs to be proofread. That way, when the entry reaches me, I'll have less to edit, thus making my job easier. If what you submit is filled with grammatical errors, it will be rejected, no matter how good the article was.
2. Coherence: I need your work to make sense, that sentences make sense, and your overall message makes sense. If people cannot understand what you are saying, they will never read your work.
3. Relevance: Whatever you want to submit must be relevant to the current state of the game. If it's the Extended season, give me Extended articles of whatever kind, be it Extended Techs, Extended Decks, Extended Metagame analysis, you name it. If you don't want to write about that, then your work still needs to be about Magic: The Gathering(TM)(ex. Rumors, News, MTGO, etc.), anything else will be rejected without even reading it.
4. Informative: I want Articles that provoke thought, or has something to bring to the table. It has a lot to do with relevance, however you can have an Extended Deck Tech for the Extended Season and yet have nothing new or important to say. If you can't say anything important, don't say anything at all.
5. Tone: It doesn't matter what tone you use when writing just as long as it's Readable, Coherent, Relevant, and Informative; you can make all the jokes you want or none at all. However, I do not tolerate any profanity whatsoever (i.e no foul language and No sexually offensive comments).
6. Length: Articles should contain no less than 500 words and no more than 2500. Any less or more than specified will be rejected.
